Womens Health Hospitalists

About Our OB/GYN Hospitalist Program

The Women’s Care Florida OB/GYN Hospitalist Program is part of our care team and was specifically designed to improve quality of care for our patients.

Key benefits to the program include:

  • Our OB/GYN Hospitalists are an extension of our office physicians; they are in direct communication using the same Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and the physicians all meet regularly.
  • Our OB/GYN Hospitalists are available 24/7. Your OB Hospitalist will be present in the hospital throughout your entire labor and delivery experience, assuring the highest quality of care.

What is an OB/GYN Hospitalist?

OB/GYN Hospitalists are physicians who completely focus their practice on caring for women who have been hospitalized for obstetrical and gynecologic care. Our Women’s Care Florida OB/GYN Hospitalists are experienced physicians who are board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Because they are dedicated to caring for patients in the hospital, an experienced Women’s Care Florida OB/GYN physician is available to see you in the hospital any time of the day or night, any day of the week. Also, with our team of OB/GYN Hospitalists handling care at the hospital, your office OB/GYN provider will be able to focus on providing care for you in the office with fewer delays and interruptions.
