Flanagan, Megan, APRN

Megan Flanagan is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses Council.

Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Megan has been part of the Tampa community since 2001. Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with emphasis in gerontology and sociology and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Florida. After working in trauma and critical care nursing for over a decade, she earned her Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Tampa. While at the University of Tampa, Megan worked as a graduate assistant and published numerous articles in the Nurse Practitioner Journal.

In her early married life, she and her husband moved to New Zealand for a year and a half while they worked in healthcare. They explored most of the north and south island, participated in many outdoor races and came to appreciate much of what the experience offered. Now parents to two young daughters they spend time exploring closer to home. Megan is an avid reader.
