Meet Dr. Lindsay Foutz

Dr. Foutz is a Jacksonville native, who graduated from Stanton College Prep in 1997. Her parents, Joanne and Lucian DeNicola both retired from the medical community in Jacksonville where her father was a founding member of the Pediatric Critical Care Division at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and her mother was the nurse coordinator for the Cleft Lip & Palate Program at Nemours. Her older and more creative brother, Drew, is a documentary film editor and producer in New York City.

Dr. Foutz graduated from Duke University in 2001 with a BS degree in Anatomy and Anthropology and a minor in Women’s Studies. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine where she was heavily involved in community service and medical outreach both locally and internationally. Dr. Foutz is an honored member of Iron Arrow which is “the highest honor attainable at the University of Miami”. She completed her residency training at Rush University Medical Center (Chicago, IL) where she received the Medical Student Teaching Award. Dr. Foutz and her fun-loving husband, Erik, a Fernandina native, returned back home to family and friends in Jacksonville where they have now lain roots in San Marco with their two energetic sons, Millan and Corbin. Erik is a practicing CRNA in the area.

Dr. Foutz joined North Florida ObGyn in 2010 due to a belief in the excellent care this organization provides to our community. She is a partner of Baptist Division II where she enjoys practicing the full range of high-risk and low-risk obstetrics as well as general gynecology. Dr. Foutz particularly enjoys the transitional periods in a woman’s life from youth to young adulthood, adulthood to motherhood, and motherhood to menopause. Her special interests include infertility, hormonal therapies and contraception, and minimally invasive surgery.
