Mills, Emily, DNP, APRN-C

Emily Mills, DNP, APRN-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.

Emily graduated from Samford University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and earned her master’s and doctorate degrees from Loyola University. She has worked in a variety of health-care settings across the country, including intensive care and pre- and post-operative services.

Emily believes in using a holistic approach and encourages her patients of all ages to be proactive in their health. She has special interests in maternal health and the prevention and management of postpartum depression.

In addition to her clinical work, Emily is dedicated to the Orlando community through her continuous involvement with United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida (formerly known as The Beta Center) and Harbor House. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and running.
