Dr. Daniel Kiefer is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician with clinical interests in perinatal ultrasound, prenatal genetic screening and diagnostic testing, preterm labor, maternal medical complications, and multiple gestations. His goal is to consistently provide the best possible patient-centered experience, while helping women and their families through complicated pregnancies.
Dr. Kiefer received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. He attended Penn State College of Medicine and did his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, followed by a fellowship in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Dr. Kiefer has had several academic appointments in his career, including Assistant Professor (clinical) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at USF Morsani College of Medicine in Allentown, PA and Clinical Assistant Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. He has published multiple manuscripts in the areas of preterm labor and complications of cesarean birth. He’s a member of the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine and is a Board-certified Fellow on the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a subspecialty certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He’s an avid traveler, restaurant enthusiast, and Disney fan. Dr. Kiefer relocated to Orlando from Las Vegas in 2017. He is looking forward to outdoor adventures in Florida with his rescue dogs and new Orlando friends.
