Cherise Chambers, MD, is a board-certified ob-gyn in Orlando. Dr. Chambers is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, the American Medical Association, and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She practices general obstetrics and gynecology, as well as high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Chambers also handles minimally invasive laparoscopies and same-day surgeries and is one of two surgeons in the practice who performs robotic surgery.
At a young age, Dr. Chambers moved to Jamaica with her family. While living there, she developed an interest in women’s health as she volunteered at local hospitals. Later, Dr. Chambers relocated to Florida, where she graduated from Nova Southeastern University, earning a B.S. degree in pre-medical sciences. In 2007, she became a Doctor of Medicine at Wright State University and completed her residency training at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in 2011. While completing her residency, Dr. Chambers served as Administrative Chief Resident, participated in research studies, and obtained several honors and awards.
