Caceres, Amanda, MMSc, CGC
Amanda received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida. She then obtained her master’s degree in medical science in genetics and genetic counseling from Emory University School of Medicine. During graduate school, Amanda gained a strong interest in prenatal and preconception genetics through an intensive clinical rotation at Georgia Perinatal Consultants.
Amanda enjoys volunteering for organizations that promote breast cancer awareness and public health awareness. She has also volunteered at a camp for children with Fabry disease, a rare genetic disorder that can cause kidney failure, heart attacks and strokes often at an early age. In her free time, she enjoys painting, pampering her Maltese puppy, traveling and learning Spanish.
