Dr. Acquinonette N. Bryant is a native of Havana, Florida, and a graduate of Florida A&M University. Dr. Bryant completed her medical training at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she was awarded multiple resident teaching awards and was recognized for research in pre-term birth by the Department of OB/GYN and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Bryant is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and an active fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Post residency, Dr. Bryant was awarded a personal services agreement with the Department of Defense. This afforded Dr. Bryant an opportunity to work as a civilian member of the United States Army’s Medical Service. In this capacity, Dr. Bryant served as a staff attending physician with the Madigan Army OB/GYN Residency Training program, as a clinical staff member, and worked under the direction of the chief consultant to the Army Surgeon General for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Prior to joining Women’s Care, Dr. Bryant was the managing member of Jasmine Women’s Center in Tallahassee, Florida, and was truly honored to return home and serve the women of the Big Bend area.
Dr. Bryant has been honored to have clinical teaching/preceptorship appointments with FSU College of Medicine and University of Washington in Seattle/Madigan ob-gyn rotation.
Dr. Bryant’s professional interests include improving and optimizing women’s health through community involvement, advocacy and teaching. Her personal interests include art, music, cooking and spending time with family.
